This page contains applications that have been written,
for various purposes, compatible with Microsoft Windows 7
upwards
(recommended for windows 11).
The
emphasis of these products is the simplicity of the interface and the
devotion of the product to a particular purpose. Hence they are keenly
priced in comparison to the more complex, some times more configurable
alternatives.
A small amount of knowledge of Microsoft technologies, is currently
necessary, to use some of these products, which is now limited to only
knowing
how to work on a Windows operating system based PC.
(1) LibraryDatabase
An application to manage a single database. This application has no
dependancy on any third party
product whatsoever - in particular the database, that the user creates.
The application is simply one that creates and manipulates a single
database of the user's creation.
(2) MapCatalogue
An application to catalogue a collection of maps using various features
or even a bespoke code of your own. This application is now redundant
as the single
database created by this application can simply be created (and named
as desired) using
the application 'LibraryDatabase'. Please purchase this application
instead.
(3) AccountancySoftware
An application allowing you to manage your wealth and plan for
retirement.
This application is ideally suited to the large corporates (such as
Aviva plc) to help them set thier Annuity rates, as well as individuals
and financial planners.
For example, purchasing a level annuity for £174,000, should provide a
58 year old male
(average life expectancy is 26 years in UK) an annual income of £12,700
(assuming the Insurance Company can achieve a compound investment return of
5.5%).
(4) Portfolio
An application allowing you to manage a portfolio of shares or bonds,
to add an income stream of dividends or coupons to it, and to evaluate
the return of groups of stocks within it (including single shares or
the whole portfolio).
The application complements the offering of 'AccountancySoftware'.
(5) MyDatabases2
An application allowing you to create and manage a collection of
databases each
of which is of the user's creation. The application has no dependencies
on any third party product whatsoever. Consider buying the service
plan, and making a suggestion,
if you would like functionality which permits logging of a users
session activities, and a restriction
on functionality dependant upon if you are an administrator or not.
There was no demand for this
functionality in the previous (Microsoft Sql Server based) product.
(6) Milkman
An application that permits scheduling and invoicing
of a weekly delivery schedule.
A feature of this application is the individual pricing of items per
customer and per day. It is hoped this is
useful in situations such as difficult to access drop of points,
bespoke pricing for a special service, or
disretionary offers etc. The software is completely free (to the user)
of any third party dependencies
other than the Net Framework. The software can be used along with the sister website Mathematical
Enterprises
to permit
batch emailing of the invoices generated, as attachments, to customers.
You will need to contact me to do this. There is a fee
per year subscription to have an email address hosted. A
trial version of the software, along with the appropriate manual, can
be made available if you wish to pursue this option.
(7) DeliverySoftware2
An application (building on (4)) that permits sheduling and invoicing
and emailing of a weekly delivery schedule.

customer. It is hoped this is

(8) DeliverySoftware3
An application (building on (6)) that permits sheduling and invoicing
and emailing of a weekly delivery schedule.
A feature of this application is the individual pricing of items per
customer and per day. It is hoped this is
useful in situations such as difficult to access drop of points,
bespoke pricing for a special service or time, or
disretionary offers etc.
This application has an international language interface.
(9) VersionController
An application permitting a primitive version control of working
files.
(10) MyDatabasesGlobal
An application as in (4), permitting a multi-lingual interface
(currently
English, German, Spanish, French, Norwegian, Irish Gaelic, Dutch and
Finnish and many more - I can
only endorse the quality of English and the integrity of the first
four, due to manpower issues). The Irish
language has been added, as an option, so that entitities in Northern
Ireland,
specifically, can perform work and leisure uses, in their own language
(interchangeably), as they wish. Additional languages
can
currently be
easily and
cost effectively added.
There is considerable cooperation from the main software leads to do
this (USA - Microsoft & Google) It should be noted that the
provision of multiple languages, within an application,
is now easy to do but the precise wording and meaning may not be
exactly as .the native speaker would mean, as often the
provision has not been done by a native speaker. This is unavaoidable
(and not particulalry important normally) and does not detract from the
value of this provision, and the culture bridging qualities. It is
impossible to be a native speaker in every language, idiom and dialect
of the world! The provision of the tool to do this effortlessly (for C#
.NET) has been made available. I'm sure other (Microsoft)
platforms can be handled similarly.
(11) Languages
This is an application, which can be used in any language of the world
desired,
which permits the converting of a Microsoft C# .NET application, so
that it too can
be operated in any desired language of the world.
Currently, I have not got the resources to understand how
precisely it would be
used in many world languags (partucularly Asian ones which
do employ logographic writing
scripts rather than the orthographic scripts common in Europe and
the Americas) - for example the use of
keyboards and computer input systems in these languages. Feedback here
would be appreciated for
which support plan services fees would be waived.
There is a service plan available with many of these softwares which
offers bug
fixes when necessary, updates
and even a feature request (at discretion), of 1 years
duration.
This will be fulfilled electronically.
There is no need to buy this service plan at the moment, as
issues will be addressed on request.
The direction of development now (November, 2022) is to
internationalise some of
the offerings, to take the lead, in demonstrating how the
tools of the software leads themselves,
can be readily adapted to do this (worldwide), to encourage work
collaboration of those speaking
different languages, and indeed of leisure and social endeavours.
